Just a practice sketch passing by, its how I train my hands Should anyone be curious about how i personally practice at home this sketch is how it usually is. Its just a simple drawing that i try to shade and add details as i finish. Been practicing hand lettering too recently

Patience, its something that has been running out in me lately. I was inspired by my friend Kuri-kuu because it seems that we have the same difficulties in life lately. She makes beautiful and heartfelt drawings/ sketches too Please check her out cause she's awesome She's too nice too! such a sweet and genuine person

May God give me more patience on things that I ask him. His timing is always perfect and he has proven himself again and again thats why i need to be still and be faithful. Indeed may God make me a more mature person and increase my patience

For the lettering I used autodesk sketchbook pro

Materials used on the girl:
Cheap Mechanical pencil ---- since im a beginner i prefer to use cheap mech pencil because it gives me a more refined look, also i can add small details like hair stands effectively because of the very sharp tip it has. Less smudge as well unlike graphite pencils since im still not used to those

Watercolor paper 300 gsm ----- ive been sketching on different papers and i discovered that the watercolor paper that is 300 gsm thick i bought works great for sketches too. Why? coz the sketch really sticks to the paper, meaning you can keep shading and darkening whatever you are drawing without ruining the paper and without being messy----normal papers cant handle too much pencil stroke, you are just gonna make a mess of pencil dust in your paper.

Blending stump -----1 of the greatest thing i've discovered last month! i didn't know this thing existed, what it does is help you with the shading, example you see the scarf the girl is wearing? the right side?  you see how there's a shadow on the pleats of the scarf and it looks kinda smooth and 3d-ish? its because of the blender i used. Without the blending stump i wont be able to make a convincing shade on the hair, clothes, skin, eyes, everywhere actually. It really mix and softens the pencil stroke.
